HEC’s year-round program of events for teachers feature top scholars on a range of historical topics. Veteran teacher-leaders guide the application of content and historical thinking in the elementary, middle school, and high school classrooms. Teachers engage on site with local primary sources and stories at area museums and archives. Teachers earn PDPs or graduate credit. All events are free to teachers – who can also earn stipends – thanks to a Teaching American History grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
