Windows on History: Web-based History Projects

Windows on History projects link teachers and students with museums and historical societies in their communities.  Students use primary source documents and artifacts to learn about local history and link it to national events. Together, students, teachers, and museum staff create websites to share their discoveries with the community.

Young students presents on her web site from the front of the class.  Deerfield Elementary School student Hadley presents her team’s web site on the history of schools to Megan Shulda’s 5th grade class.  The class worked with teachers, Sue Boraski and Holly Dobson.
